FIRST CLASS OF UED102

   


      On 7th June 2017, we had our first study skills class at Dewan Indera Segara. All the students of interim session had to gather at 8 o'clock in the morning. When we arrived, we were divided into groups. I was in group C.

      Then, Professor Madya Dr. Halil Bin Paino briefed us about UED102. We will have 2 hours of class every wednesday. The place and the syllibus will be different every weeks.
As for group C, here is the timetable :

  • week 1 : Dewan Indera Segara
  • week 2 : Al-Farabi
  • week 3 : At-Tabari
  • week 4 : Dewan Kuliah 1
  • week 5 : Dewan Kuliah 2
  • week 6 : Ibnu hazm
  • week 7 : Library
As for UED102, there is no final exam😆 But we have 2 assignments to finish this semester.

a) Personal e-portfolio (60% marks)
b) Assessment during class (40% marks)

As for the personal e-portfolio, we can use any public domain to do this assignment. For example, wordpress, microsoft words, blog, google plus and others. The e-portfolio must include minimum 14 items such as :


  1. Learning style inventory
  2. goal statements - the five steps approach
  3. Notes on library tour
  4. Fixed -commitment calendar
  5. job task analysis
  6. prioritized to do list
  7. Memory strategies 
  8. Organizational
  9. Concentration strategies
  10. Concentration chart
  11. Reading text
  12. Note-taking strategies
  13. Note-taking exercise using the correct Cornell method
  14. GPA worksheet

The second task is we need to make a video within 10 minutes with 10 members in a group. The video is about five important places in UiTM Jengka.

COLLEGE ACADEMIC LIFE

  1. Less time in class
  2. More study outside the class
  3. More reading
  4. Not be reminded about the exams and quiz
  5. All must do on your own
  6. No extension on due date
  7. Ask for help

Assalamualaikum everyone 😊 My name is Nur Amirah Nailah Binti Mohd Saidi. I was born on 4th of February in Kuantan,Pahang. I love to bake. I have four siblings which is two girls and two boys. I am the first child. My kindergarten was Tadika Kemas. My primary school were SK Tunku Azizah and SK Sungai Talam. My secondary school was SMK Sultan  Abu Bakar,Kuantan(SABS) which was first place in Pahang for SPM result last year because we have many students who passed with flying colours in SPM. SABS usually top 5 in Kuantan, but surprisingly we got first place last year. Actually, our principle was going to retire on March 2017 and before she retired, she asked us to give our best in SPM as a present for her retirement.
